Friends of Chef Whitney.

Our March Spotlights, we have two this month:

Tom Ohling, is Chef & The Child Committee chair  and the ACF Chef de Cuisine Society of Oregon board member. Chef Tom's information and a link to his site is below, but as you scroll take a look at what Doug & Janet Allen, ACF, Chefs, Birmingham, Alabama are cooking up!!

We love to see our guests smile while they enjoy the flavor of our food. Our goal is to give you everything you need to see those same smiles on your friends and family too!

At Mustard Seed Gourmet Foods we bring the consumer products used, tested, and endorsed by professional culinarians in a variety of cooking environments. From fine dining to family dining, good food prepared well is always in style.

Our staff of chefs personally endorses each of our products so you can be sure you're getting the best!

Check out my ACF friends in Alabama.  They have a small line of mustards, sauces. recipes, and cool gadgets. The email note below led me to the great web site they have built.

Chef,
My wife and I are both chefs also, she is a pastry chef and I am a chef for a corporation here in Birmingham, Alabama.

We also have had our own restaurant and catering business which led us to develop our own spice blends and putting together the foods that we use in a professional kitchen but packaged for the chef at home.

Now that our site is almost a year old we have also some professional culinarians that are purchasing our products as well. This is because we have sourced some unique products and they have professional applications as well as home use.

As a result we have offered "professional" pricing for those in the industry on those items that apply to both applications.

Our shopping cart is being redesigned to be easier to use and to include those newer items. This should all be on-line by the end of this week (3/28/03) and we are excited about the responses we are already getting.

Thanks for your help and please let me know if you have any further questions. We will be doing a links page as well soon so we will of course do a link to your site.

Our December spotlight- Leslie Ashcraft-ACF, Medford, OR

Here is a picture of the dessert my students did for our ACF Friendship Force dinner in October. we had to do 100 of these! And they tasted great! Leslie :-)

Below: We were in charge of the dessert station and spent many hours. Our theme was "Pooh" and we did pastillage characters of Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore, etc. It was a great experience and we impressed a lot of people. Plus it was great FUN! Hope you enjoy the pictures

Please give credit to our ACF Chef: Chef Jesse Bartyzal, CEC, AAC those pictures/project would not have been possible
without his teaching. Thanks. I appreciate your help and generosity!!!!!
